These Medical Therapy Jaundice PL-L lamps emit light primarily in the 400 to 500 nm range, avoiding any radiation from the short wave UVB waveband. This makes them perfect for treating newborns with hyperbilirubinemia (neonatal jaundice) and Crigler-Najjar Syndrome (CNS). Furthermore, these lamps have a peak wavelength of 450 nm, which is the most effective for treatment. This highly effective phototherapy has significantly reduced the need for blood transfusions in jaundiced infants. Additionally, the compact design of the PL-L lamp allows equipment manufacturers to have greater flexibility in developing their solutions. With their ability to emit a full spectrum of high-color temperature light, the PL-L /952 lamps are also well-suited for treating Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
